their childcare service and some light housework? Then getting an Au
Pair might just be the right kind of thing for you to do.
Not
only would you be giving young people from allover the globe the chance
of a once-in-a-lifetime experience overseas. You and your family could
learn about other cultures, maybe pick up a new language and find out
how people live on the other side of the world.
I am always looking for families in the Whangarei area and Northland in general who want more
than just a babysitter for two nights per week. Au Pairs usually live
with the family and are able to take care of your kids while you're
away at work. That includes driving them to school, kindergarten or wherever you
need them to be, help them do their homework or tidy their room. Au
Pairs also do heaps of fun things with and for your kids like taking
them on little trips during the holidays, doing handicrafts or
paintings. If required your Au Pair can also help you around the house
doing some laundry or tidying up.
In return for their services Au Pairs will get free food and accommodation, be treated as part of your family and receive an average weekly wage between $150 and $200 depending on their workload.
